Adap-T - eyepiece to camera attachment system
The Adap-T system allows filter-threaded digital cameras to be mounted securely and precisely onto most popular eyepieces. The heart of the system is the Adap-T eyepiece adaptor ring (AC530 item A in the photo) which is quickly and easily fitted onto the eyepiece using the supplied key. The eyepiece adaptor ring fits easily around the recess exposed by removing the rubber eyecup. The list of suitable eyepiece types is long and includes Meade 4000, 3000 and MA series, Celestron, Helios, Tal, Orion (USA), Parks, and many others.

The system is completed by attaching a separate T-threaded camera adaptor ring (item B), which fits onto the filter thread around the lenses of digital cameras and camcorders. A wide range of adaptor and stepping rings is available to fit most major camera brands, all carefully designed to accommodate the camera’s specific lens positioning.
