Complete Anti-Dewing System for small refractors
up to 5.1" diameter tube size
 

This complete temperature-controllable anti-dew system is the best way to keep dew away from your telescope optics all night long. The kit comprises a controller with six temperature-control steps and a lens cell heating tape. The controller needs to be plugged in to a suitable 12V DC power supply available separately. The tape is plugged into the controller and is then simply attached around the front of the optical tube with an elasticated Velcro strap. The kit also includes a splitter to allow the use of an eyepiece dew heater (purchased separately, see section on Anti-Dewing Equipment). The controller can be plugged into the Portable Astro Power Station (see below AC338) and at a typical low to mid-range heat setting the Power Station will keep your optics dew free for over 8 hours!
