The shields feature black velour flocking on the inside for improved image contrast.

The AE flexible dew shields have fully stitched edges and stitched Velcro retainers for longer service life. The dew shields feature a sponge insulating lining underneath the black flocking - this increases the efficiency of the action of the dew shield by retaining warmer air for longer and improves mechanical retention on the telescope.

The shield slides along the tube for storage or will undo and store flat if required.
